Who is it for?: Adults, General public
Friendly, practical workshops run by leading naturalists. From wild food-foraging and composting to bird song and insect identification, explore biodiversity on our doorstep.
How to save the world with fish poo and other great ideas? Go along to the November Urban Naturalist, to hear from Real Food Wythenshawe to find out more about how we can grow fruit and vegetables from fish waste. Hear about the trials and tribulations of setting up an Aquaponics system that can produce good quality food and learn some of the science behind the produce. You’ll also get to see the Manchester Museum’s Aquaponic system in action.
Adult Event, Free, Book on mcrmuseum.eventbrite.com or 0161 275 2648
