Local support for people affected by cancer

Cancer affects so many of us and we often need support, whether it’s someone to talk to, financial advice, practical help or getting our lives back on track after treatment. Manchester City Council’s Macmillan Information and Support Service offer this support in the community. We can meet residents for a one to one near to where they live, usually at a local library, or talk to people over the phone.

We also offer cancer awareness talks to community groups. These get people talking about cancer and carry the important message of early diagnosis.
