24-Hour Mental Health Crisis Line

Following the overwhelming success of our existing all-night mental health crisis services, Self Help has been commissioned to provide 24-hour mental health crisis support to residents across Manchester, Salford, Trafford, Tameside & Glossop.

The Sanctuary is a 24-hour service offering a new telephone crisis line during the day, from 6am - 8pm, alongside an existing night time service, from 8pm - 6am, when clients can attend in person.

The overnight services assist people who are dealing with emotional crisis, out-of hours, experiencing: anxiety, panic attacks, depression or suicidal thoughts. During the night, we also offer face to face visits at our site in Central Manchester and transport can be arranged where required.
