Befriending volunteers are wanted in
Manchester... have you got two hours to spare once a week, Monday to Friday
between 9am-5pm to visit a person with dementia?
You will give the person
with dementia the opportunity to do the things that they enjoy; this could
be going for a coffee, shopping, visiting an art gallery or museum or simply
walking and talking. Full training will be provided on a one to one basis; with
ongoing support.
